DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, January 27\, Urban Coyote will hold a 5K\, 10K and half marathon race on our trails. The activities begin at 7AM and should be over by noon. \nThe trails will still remain open to hikers\, bikers\, and equestrians. DESCRIPTION:Want to get out in the fresh air and get exercise? Join Friends Of China Camp’s guided hiking program on selected Saturdays in winter at China Camp State Park. Lead by Naturalist Harold Hirsch. Hikes range from easy to moderate\, ranging from 1.5 to 2 miles.Please bring appropriate hiking gear\, warm clothing water\, snacks\, sunscreen and a hat.  If you are bringing more than 5 people\, please RSVP to chinacamp.programs@gmail.com or (415)488-5161\, otherwise you can just show up!\n \n1/13 Meet at Back Ranch Meadows Campground entrance along North San Pedro Road – Intermediate uphill hike-2 mile\nTopic: Oak woodlands\n\n\n\n1/20  Meet at the very end of Knight Drive  (off of Point San Pedro Road in Peacock Gap/Glenwood area)- mostly level hike though deep oak land forest\, 2-3 miles.\nTopic: Oak woodlands and Ferns \n\n\n\n1/27- Meet at Turtleback trail head – Slow and easy walk around Turtleback Island.  3/4 mile (Great for Kids!)\nTopic:  Ferns and First Wildflowers
