Listen to this tale and more at a special storytelling event led by Alicia Mary Retes\, Education Director at the Museum of the American Indian at Miwok Park in Novato\, and descendant of the Mayo and Yaqui tribes. \nNot only is Alicia an engaging storyteller\, she also composes songs in the Miwok language. Be prepared to sing along as she performs with elderberry clapper sticks.
