SUMMARY:Trail Closures in Effect
DESCRIPTION:Beginning March 3\, a portion of Shoreline Trail will be closed for restoration until further notice. The Friends of China Camp volunteer trail team will be restoring the handicap-accessible portion of Shoreline Trail\, to ensure equitable access for people with mobility disabilities. \nPlease stay off closed areas\, trespassing could risk disturbing the sensitive trail conditions. Trail restoration takes hundreds of hours of volunteer time and park financial resources\, please be respectful and stay on the trail. \nThe section will include the connection from the Back Ranch Meadows Campground by campsite #1 to the gravel parking lot accross from Turtle Back Trailhead. Portions of that gravel parking lot will be closed. See map below for details. \nMap indicates the work area (white line) and detour (blue line). The parking lot across from Turtle Back Trailhead will be closed to the public during this time. A small section will be left open for foot and bike access between North San Pedro Road and Shoreline trail.
