SUMMARY:Thanksgiving Leftovers Hike
DESCRIPTION:What could be a better activity to do the day after one of the biggest meals of the year\, than to stretch our legs and get some exercise in the crisp autumn air. Join us for our day-after-Thanksgiving Day family hike\, where we will look for ripening seeds\, burrows\, and new glistening spider webs – all signs of the preparations made by local flora and fauna for the wet winter season ahead. The hike will be around two miles based on group preference and weather.  \n  \nDate: Friday\, November 25 \nTime:  10 a.m. –  noon \nLocation: Meeting location details emailed upon reservation.  \nDifficulty: Moderate\, 2 miles round trip \nWhat to bring: Weather-appropriate clothing and shoes and a filled water bottle. \nNote: Heavy rain or winds will cancel this event.
