DESCRIPTION:Ring in the new year in a spectacular way. Join naturalist Harold Hirsch as he leads our annual New Year’s Day sunrise hike—a heart-pumping and fun way to welcome 2026. \nStart with an invigorating ascent to one of China Camp’s premier vista points\, then\, at 7:26 a.m.\, watch the sun as it peeks over the horizon on the first day of the year. If you wish\, bring a short message or poem to share at the vistapoint. Hot chocolate will be served after the hike\, and you can roast marshmallows. \nSpace is limited; registration required.
