Critter Quiz: You name it

Test your savvy with this animal quiz

What’s in a name? When it comes to animals, quite a lot, especially when it’s a group of critters. Some of you might already know that a group of the same type of animal—be it birds, beasts, bugs, or creatures in the sea—can have a surprisingly colorful name. Some group monikers may make sense, while others can be major head-scratchers. (Read on and you’ll know what we mean.)

See how you fare in our matching game. If you have more fun names to share, particularly for species found at China Camp, please share them on our Friends of China Camp Facebook and Instagram pages, and follow us for more cool facts and finds around the park.
