Full Moon HIke
February 12 @ 4:45 pm - 7:30 pm
Join us on a brisk hike to watch the February full moon peek over the San Pablo Bay horizon. This moon is often called the “Snow Moon” because it typically coincides with the heaviest snowfall of the year in the northern hemisphere.
Naturalist docent Harold Hirsch will lead this 3.5-mile round-trip excursion. Follow him along a beautiful single-track trail to a prime overlook, then enjoy breathtaking views of the moonrise over the bay. Please be prepared for this moderately challenging hike (elevation gain 500 feet). Bring a warm jacket and a headlamp or flashlight.
