We are sorry to inform you that due to the emphasized high wind warnings from Marin County, and the Red Flag Warning issued today, our hike lead has decided the safest option is to cancel tonight’s Program.

With fall’s return, the longer nights conjure up spirits. From old European traditions, Halloween’s rites fill the night. For traditional Native Californians, the full moon’s movement and its cyclical changes marked the seasons, the passage of time, and cycles of renewal. Join us to rekindle our connections with the night sky through the rise of the ghostly “Hunter Moon” as it rises over the Berkley Hills.

Dress for a crisp, cool night. Bring water and your camera. Wear sturdy hiking shoes, and pack a flashlight or headlamp, either fully charged or with fresh batteries.

NOTE: This hike begins sharply at 5:15 p.m. Please arrive early to check in, and don’t be late or you’ll miss the fun.
