Junior Ranger Program

China Camp Oak Woodland Exploration

Earn your Jr. Ranger badge as we explore China Camp’s majestic oak trees and the insects and animals that call them home. We’ll learn about the cultural and natural history of China Camp’s oak woodlands. Each program encourages participants to become stewards of their local environment. It may be a warm day, so bring lots of water.

Date: Saturday August 3rd

Time: 9am-10:30am

Location: Turtleback Trailhead

Age: Best for ages 6-10, accompanied by an adult.

Bring appropriate hiking clothes and shoes, snacks, sunscreen, a hat, and binoculars 

(if you have them).

Space is limited and reservations are required.
