Full Moon Hike

Celebrate the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival, also called the Moon Festival, with an invigorating hike to watch the moonrise over San Pablo Bay. The full moon in September, known as the “Harvest Moon,” occurs closest to the fall equinox. The name reflects this moon’s extended period of moonlight, which once helped farmers with their autumn harvests. After the hike, enjoy traditional Chinese mooncakes with your fellow hikers.
