Day-Use Passes
China Camp State Park is a fee-use area. By buying a pass, you are helping keep the park, which receives no financial support from the State of California or from taxes, open and safely maintained. All fees stay within China Camp State Park, to allow Friends of China Camp to keep the park open and thriving!
A Trail-Only Day Pass is $3 per person. A Parking+Trail Day Pass is $5 per vehicle, which includes trail access for up to four people. Purchase day-use passes at one of our Electronic Pay Stations, located throughout the park. Pay stations accept cash (no change), or credit and ATM cards. Keep your ticket with you. At trail heads that don’t have electronic pay stations, please deposit exact cash in the Iron Ranger (envelopes provided; keep stub with you). Some locations also have QR codes, for payment via mobile phone, posted at trailhead kiosks.
Annual Passes
The Annual Trail-Only Pass ($40) is valid for trail use for two adults plus children. The Annual Parking+Trail Pass ($60) is valid for parking of one vehicle, and trail use for all people in the vehicle.
Both types of our annual passes can be purchased at Electronic Pay Stations throughout the park. If you have purchased an Annual Pass from one of the electronic pay stations, please complete the reedem passes form. Your permanent plastic Annual Pass will be sent to you by USPS. Membership donations are fully tax deductible.
To further support Friends of China Camp and the park, consider a higher membership level, each with special bonuses, such as exclusive guided tours and member events. One hundred percent of your contribution goes directly to keeping China Camp State Park open and thriving for all.
If you have purchased an Annual Trail-Only Pass or Annual Parking+Trail Pass from one of the electronic pay stations at the park, please fill out this form and a permanent plastic pass will be sent to you. Keep your pay station receipt as a temporary pass until you receive the permanent plastic Annual Pass.
