JUNIOR RANGERS: Inside and out: bugs and their exoskeletons
Sure, Halloween has its spooky skeletons—but have you ever wondered what 5.5 million species of bugs have? Exoskeletons!
Other animals have exoskeletons, including crabs and lobsters. Bug exoskeletons come in all sorts of creepy and cool shapes, sizes, colors, and materials.
Join this month’s Junior Ranger Program to learn about these fantastic bug body parts. Take a look at some of them up close (if you dare), and discover how scientists are learning from these amazing structures to help give us superpowers of our own.
