Darwin Day Online

February 13, 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Darwin’s Progress

Join us on February 13th as we celebrate worldwide Darwin Day,  in commemoration of Charles Darwin’s birthday (which is on February 12th). Join us for a presentation on the theory of evolution, and how it has advanced since Charles Darwin first published his momentous book, On the Origin of Species. Fun fact: this book was published around the same time that China Camp Village was established. Naturalist Harold Hirsch will lead this stimulating discussion about the evolution of well… evolution!

Harold Hirsch has been a naturalist with China Camp State Park for over 3 years. He has a keen interest in the natural world and has led numerous hikes and naturalist programs on a variety of topics.
