Earth Day Broom Pull

On this eco-friendly day, join other volunteers to improve biodiversity at the park. This event, co-sponsored by Friends of China Camp and the California State Parks Foundation, will focus on removing invasive broom plants. By taking part, you’ll play a vital role in fostering a more resilient park ecosystem by removing invasive species and allowing native plants to flourish. Let’s unite for the love of nature!
Wear long pants, a long-sleeve shirt, and hiking boots or other sturdy, closed-toe shoes. Bring work gloves, a filled water bottle, and sunscreen. Please leave your four-legged friends at home, as no pets are allowed on our trails.
Date: Saturday, April 20
Time: 9 a.m. – noon
Location: provided with registration
Difficulty: moderately strenuous
Age: 14 and up; participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult
