Full Moon Hike
September 20, 2021 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
September “Harvest Moon”
Want to enjoy the harvest moon with us? No, not the Neil Young song, but the real deal! Join us for this special walk lit by September’s full moon. Naturalist Harold Hirsch will guide us on a moderately strenuous, 4-mile round-trip hike where we will stop at a vista point and watch the radiant full moon cast glittering light over the bay. This September moon is deemed a “harvest moon” as it is the closest full moonrise to the fall equinox. Suitable for kids ages 10+.
