Full Moon Hike
February 16, 2022 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
This moon is deemed the “snow moon” because February is usually the coldest, snowiest month in the U.S. Though Bay Area residents might have to head to Tahoe to actually see some snow this month, you can join us on a journey to watch the snow-white moon ascend into the night sky.
Naturalist Harold Hirsch will guide us on an invigorating hike to a breathtaking vista point where we will watch the radiant full moon rise over the East Bay hills and illuminate San Francisco Bay. Suitable for kids ages 10 and up.
