Full Moon Hike
April 16, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm
Get ready for an evening packed with celestial delights. Our hike will lead us to a spectacular viewpoint, where we will watch the rise of April’s “Pink Moon,” so-called for the pink phlox flowers that bloom in spring. We may also be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the first shooting stars of the Lyrids meteor shower, which begins April 16 and peaks the night of April 22.
Naturalists Harold Hirsch and Brendan Clifford will guide us on a moderately strenuous, 4-mile round-trip hike that’s suitable for ages 10 and up.
