Full Moon Hike

December 7, 2022 @ 3:20 pm - 6:00 pm

Grace Quan MoonlightWe are excited to witness the rise of our last full moon of 2022. This full moon was dubbed the Long Night Moon by the medieval Anglo-Saxons describing the shortened winter days and long nights. December’s full moon has a high trajectory in the sky, which means that it will be above the horizon for longer than most full moons.

We will ascend to China Camp’s optimal vista point for this special event. Dress for the crisp cool late fall evening, wear sturdy hiking shoes (the trails may be muddy), and pack flashlights loaded with fresh batteries. Strong winds or rain will cancel.
