Volunteer work morning in partnership with the CSPF
February 22 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Make a difference and have fun doing it! With limited dollars coming from the State, volunteers are essential in keeping the park safe and beautiful. Come join our work day in partnership with the California State Parks Foundation. We will be pulling invasive French and Scotch broom plans and cutting invasive Fennel plants—it’s a great way to give back to our beautiful park.
No previous experience or long-term commitment required. Wear long pants, a long-sleeve shirt, and sturdy shoes (no sandals!). Bring a filled water bottle and wear sunscreen (bug spray optional). Please register the the California State Parks Foundation. They will provide you with additional details and information about camping for volunteers. Minimum age is 14. Ages 14 – 18 must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.
At noon we will gather in the park’s historic Village for lunch. Bring your own brown bag lunch and a beverage. Beverages will also be available in the cafe for purchase
Cancellations will be posted on our events calendar.
