Be a part of something special at China Camp State Park. Join other volunteers to take part in the American Hiking Association’s National Trails Day, a day of service for hometown trails and the people who love them. Help spiff up our trails, then relax with lunch provided by Friends of China Camp.

On this special day, we’ll focus on trails in need of a good grooming. Armed with loppers, pruners, and other tools, we’ll cut back shrubs, trim overhanging branches, and remove accumulated leaf litter. Work will be moderately strenuous, with a walking distance of 3 to 4 miles. All volunteers age 15 and older are welcome—no previous experience required. (Minors need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.)

Pre-registration is required so we can plan appropriately for tools, supplies, and…lunch!
