GUIDED HIKING PROGRAM 

Naturalist Hikes at China Camp

Learn about the abundant wildlife in the area.

See stunning vistas.

Get Outside and exercise by the glittering bay. 

Join us for a guided hike at China Camp, lead by naturalist Harold Hirsch. These weekend hikes range from easy to advanced, from 1.5 to 6 miles. Please wear layers and good hiking shoes. Bring appropriate hiking gear, water, snacks, sunscreen and a hat.

• 8/3 Back Ranch Meadows Entrance Gate– 9:30am: Intermediate, 3 miles, 400 ft elevation gain. Meet at the entrance gate by the guard kiosk. 
• 8/17 Knight Drive Trailhead-  9:30am:  Intermediate,  3 miles, 100 ft elevation gain. 
• 8/24 China Camp Village– Heritage Day Festival Hike- 1:00 pm: Intermediate,  3 miles, 100 ft elevation gain. Begins at China Camp Village at Friends of China Camp Membership Tent. Shuttle overflow parking from Ranger Station.
• 8/31 Beechwood Ct & Heartwood Ct. in Glenwood neighborhood off of Knight Dr.(To Gold Hill Fire Rd.) 9:30am Intermediate, 3 miles, 400 ft elevation gain.
