Nature hike: Summery walk in the woods
As the lushness of spring slides into the golden days of mid-summer, changes happen all over the park. Join our leisurely walk into one of China Camp’s key habitats: our beautiful oak and bay woodlands. We’ll be on the lookout for a host of summer’s remarkable seeds—and the critters who depend on them—as well as plants that produce important fall berries. This hands-on wander along shady paths will open your mind to the complex and remarkable rhythm of the seasons at China Camp—a wonderful way to change the way you see the park no matter when or how you enjoy this special place.
