New Year’s Sunrise Hike

Want to celebrate the new year in a profound way? Ring in the new year under the open sky as we observe the beauty of the rising sun over the tranquil waters of the San Pablo bay. Join naturalist Harold Hirsch for this 3 mile sunrise hike to welcome the first new golden light of the 2020 year. Refreshments will be served afterwards!

Time: 6:45am-9am

Location: China Camp Ranger Station, 101 Peacock Gap Trail, San Rafael

Moderate hike, 3 miles

Please bring appropriate hiking clothes, a headlamp, and a water bottle. Please dress in warm layers. Rain will cancel the event.
