FOCC is offering yet another opportunity to flex your muscles and show our rutted trails who’s boss.

We will be rebuilding trail tread to make it safer and to comply with the State Park standards. We will also be putting the final touches on the tread work that was done in June. Some tasks will be strenuous and some easier. There’s something for everyone!

Volunteers 16 and older are welcome to join us. Minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian.

Champion events are held in partnership with the California State Parks Foundation (CSPF). Please register on their website. Your registration helps us plan for equipment, supplies and of course, food. The festivities are from 9AM to 3PM. Lunch is included. CSPF will contact all registrants with information about where to meet, what to bring (in addition to a smile) and what to wear.

Free camping is available Friday and Saturday nights. Space is limited to registered volunteers. To reserve your camping spot, email parkchampions@calparks.org.
