SPECIAL EVENT: King Tides walk

November 22 @ 8:30 am - 10:30 am

Along the way, we’ll explore the park’s unique natural and cultural history, spot changes happening right before our eyes, and discover what makes these powerful tides so fascinating. Perfect for curious minds of all ages, this adventure offers a rare chance to witness nature’s extremes from the park’s premier ADA-compliant trail.

Come curious and leave with a deeper appreciation for our coastal ecosystems and the forces that shape them!

Also, photos you take of the king tides can be sent to the California King Tides Project to be added to their database and for inclusion on their webpage.

Note: For visitor safety, this event is not scheduled on the peak tide day, but road flooding may still occur due to storms or other conditions, so please check road conditions on North or Point San Pedro Road, depending on your route, before departing for the event.
