Special event: the energy of evolution

For nearly two centuries, Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution has impacted almost all fields of science. Biology, chemistry, math, medicine, astrobiology, and even AI and physics have been impacted by the discoveries of this 19th-century naturalist, writer, and explorer.

Join an engaging evening with FOCC natural history docent Harold Hirsch as he explores the connections that are fundamental to how we experience the world and how we came to be. Learn more about Darwin’s groundbreaking discoveries, and their lasting impact on our scientific world.

Space is limited; registration is required. Cancellation notified via email. Note that participants will also be able to attend this event online by Zoom; details provided with confirmation.
