Spring Birding Hike
April 19 @ 8:00 am - 10:00 am
April brings a burst of avian activity to the park: torpedo-like Vaux’s swifts soar in the sky and the sweet chorus of returning migrant songbirds like warbling vireos, yellow warblers, and Western tanagers, fills the morning air. We’ll listen to the varied calls of these new arrivals during this guided walk. China Camp’s diverse habitats and their role in bird identification will be discussed. Led by birding expert Jerry Coe, this easy hike is perfect for birders of all levels.
