Spring Birding Hike
May is the peak of the spring migration and an exciting time to see songbirds. During this month’s walk, learn to identify birds using color, size, shape, behavior, and habitat; you’ll allso discover tricks to help remember bird calls and songs. We’ll likely spot swallows, spotted towhees, California quail, Western bluebirds, and golden-crowned and white-crowned sparrows. Led by birding expert Jerry Coe, this easy hike is perfect for birders of all levels.

Difficulty: easy 1.5- to 2-mile walk
