Full moon hike: the Pink Moon
Join us for an unforgettable evening under the stars! This popular guided hike leads to an impressive vista point where we’ll witness the rise of the full moon over the sparkling bay. April’s full “Pink Moon” gets its name from the vibrant pink phlox flowers that bloom on the East Coast in spring. Here at China Camp, the moon coincides with our native pink wildflower, the checkermallow. Naturalist Harold Hirsch will lead this moderately strenuous hike.
