Trees of China Camp
July 14 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm
Join us on a walk through China Camp’s upland forest to learn about the park’s diverse woodland ecosystem. Learn about the unique adaptations of majestic buckeyes, elegant willows, hardy manzanitas, and grand coastal and valley oaks; some of these species serve as critical keystone species, nurturing the landscape’s rich tapestry of life. Wear sturdy hiking shoes and dress in layers for warmer weather. Bring water and your camera/cell phone; walking poles optional. Pets are not allowed on our trails, so please leave your four-legged family members at home.
