CANCELLED: Watch winter’s king tides

January 3 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Experience the extraordinary phenomenon of king tides at China Camp State Park. This guided, family-friendly walk will explore how these exceptionally high tides shape our shorelines, wetlands, and wildlife—and what they can teach us about future sea-level rise. Along the way, participants will learn about the park’s unique natural and cultural history while observing the dramatic changes brought by the tides in real time. Perfect for learners of all ages, this informative outing offers a rare chance to witness nature’s extremes from the vantage point of the park’s premier, ADA-approved trail.

Come curious, and leave with a deeper understanding of coastal ecosystems and the forces that shape them.
