Wildflower hike: the secrets of spring blooms
Who needs artificial intelligence when nature’s intelligence is on full display? Early spring at China Camp is an amazing time to watch that intelligence unfold. Many already-emergent flowers at China Camp are heralding spring’s early arrival this year.
Join natural history docent Harold Hirsch on this invigorating springtime hike into our oak woodlands. Harold will share clues as to why flowers look the way they do. He’ll share stories of competition and collaboration between species as the trail climbs to sweeping views of China Camp’s tidal wetlands.
